CL250 - The Gap Closer
CL250 is manufactured from high pressure die-cast aluminium to give a light weight yet durable cleat. The rollers are manufactured from a composite plastic designed to withstand coral sand. The cleat's low profile means it is suitable for use with any sail type. It can also be fitted onto any mast extension using rivets or screws.
The cleat offers a cost effectlive solution for acheiving a 6:1 ratio on a downhaul and is popular with many manufacturers as it allows the sail, when tensioned, to reach the bottom of the mast.
